Carrie and I are married with two children. We have a son named Gavin and a daughter named Nova. Both of us are Washington State natives.

I have over 12 years of security, public safety, emergency response and leadership experience. I have proven expertise in developing standard operating procedures, post orders, and training programs that strengthen security operations and compliance. I have a positive track record of building strong teams through recruiting, mentoring, and leadership development. I was a Washington State Department of Licensing Certified Security Instructor for 4 years. I am experienced in corporate, higher education, transit, mall, event security, and more. This includes high-profile event management and multi-site operations. I became a certified First Aid/CPR/AED/BLS and Stop the Bleed Instructor to further pass on my knowledge and turn standard citizens into confident emergency responders.

Carrie has about 14 years of experience working in the childcare industry. Carrie has experience caring for infants, toddlers, and school-age children. Carrie has also worked with Jr. High and High School aged children. Carrie has worked in a variety of childcare and school district (K-12) settings. Carrie has worked in several positions ranging from Playland Attendant, Keyholder/Shift Leader, Right At School Program Educator, Covid Coordinator, Substitute Para-Educator, Recess Para-Educator, Special Education Para-Educator and more. Carrie is currently enrolled in school working on her medical transcribing certification, on her journey to transition into the medical field.
